I have a sunburn, and it hurts. I've always been apart of the "screw sunscreen" school of thought, and I almost regret that decision. Not quite, but almost. The miniature blisters are certainly inconvenient, but not nearly inconvenient enough for me to admit being wrong. Besides, it's The Weather Channel's fault anyway. They said it was supposed to rain all day Saturday, and then it ended up being a wonderfully beautiful day. So while I only intended to be out in the sun for an hour and a half, it was so sunny and nice that I ended up laying out for around four hours, leading people to ask me if I had changed ethnic groups over the weekend. Yep, people are funny.
Luckily, now that you high schoolers have reached summer status, things are actually starting to happen around here. The Huck is finally open and this Friday I'll get to go to my first barn dance of the summer, which I'm extremely excited about. It would be even better if I could wear something that no one has seen yet. You see, the sucky thing about losing weight is that none of your clothes fit anymore...so right now, I have approximately three shirts to alternate between until I get my paycheck. Payday was actually last Friday, but some sort of error on someone's part delayed that so I have yet to receive any money to buy clothes with. Good thing I didn't tell the Mafia that I'd pay them back on that day.
Unfortunately, this will be my only blog for this week. I have Dorm Manager training on Thursday and Friday, so I'll be over there both of those days and therefore unable to write any blogs. You're heartbroken, I know. It's cool though because the longer we wait in between blogs the more I have to talk about, and I know that excites you. I'm also running out of time to write this, and since I wouldn't be able to continue until Monday I might as well just wrap it up here. I know, this was a pretty weak blog and I apologize. I'll try and do better next time. Or maybe I won't. Depends on whether or not I have a paycheck.
